50% Toll Reduction in Effect — 2026
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has approved a temporary toll reduction of 50% for sections still under construction, to compensate commuters for ongoing construction bottlenecks and diversions. Drivers currently pay approximately 30–50% of the standard intended toll on specific under-construction stretches. This is a temporary structure valid until full completion.
Current Rates (2026)
Toll is charged per kilometre travelled on a closed tolling system (one entry–exit pair = one trip).

FASTag is mandatory on NE-4
All plazas are FASTag-only. Vehicles without a linked FASTag are charged double the toll rate. Keep your FASTag balance topped up before entering.
FASTag Annual Pass
Launched August 2025 — a flat-fee season ticket for frequent users.

Is the Pass Worth It?
Even with the current 50% toll reduction, the annual pass saves money for frequent users. Example for the Sohna–Dausa stretch(approx. ₹450–₹500 per trip for a car):

If you use the expressway more than 7–8 times a year for long stretches, the Annual Pass is the cheaper option. Best for daily commuters and weekly long-distance drivers.
Key rule: On this closed tolling expressway, one trip = one entry–exit pair, regardless of distance (50 km or 500 km).
